Inquisition Plans

Inquisition of the Kindred

The interview plan has changed- M.F. will be interviewing select Kindred based on their research, and will be narrowing down from there. It may not be necessary to interview all of the kindred in the city with this new method.

The interviews with the Kindred will be much different than the interviews with the Kine- M.F. is a known agent to the vampires in the city and cannot get away with acting too far outside of their 'norm'. ~~The basic questions M.F. will ask the Kindred are as follows:~~ - The plan has changed- questions will now be determined by research and information gathered from other interviews and other sources. These still may be applicable, but are not guaranteed.

How was your guest sourced?
How did you convince your guest to come to the party?
How did you tell your guest to prepare?
Describe the appearance of your gues during sourcing and upon arrival at the party.
- If eye color is not mentioned, this must be confirmed before proceeding
  - Eye color should be confirmed both during sourcing and at the party
Describe the demeanor of your gues during sourcing and upon arrival to the party.
Were any vampiric disciplines used on the guest?
- If so,...
  - Which one(s)?

Non-compliance will be met with "I will have to tell the Prince how uncooperative you were."

M.F. would default to their standard 'Columbo style' behavior- they navigate this scenario by imitating a 'comfort character' because the stakes are high and they are worried about failing.

Inquisition of the Kine

NOTE: This is potentially no longer needed- M.F. is going to be relying on more of a purely investigational and research approach rather than meticulously interview the guests one by one for efficiency's sake.

Interviewing the Kine is another matter entirely- ordinarily, M.F. would have once again fallen back on playing the hapless fool, but they have come to realize that, for whatever reason, humans find them extra unsettling after their transformation.

With this being the case, M.F. would lean into the unsettling, unflappable KGB style agent persona- their goal would be to assault the humans with a barrage of questions not designed to gather any direct information, but rather, to see how the subject reacts under pressure.

Pre-work: M.F. would request that they be provided with two N.O.P.D officers to accompany them. This not only makes their ask seem more credible, but also allows them some measure of protection in case the subject does turn out to be possessed by a Strix.

M.F. has requested that Ramirez help pay for them to have a custom tailored Inquisitor's Uniform. This has been completed.

If the human's eye color is noted as being golden by the corresponding vampire, M.F. would save them for last (not sure what the plan will be, I'm still thinking about this).

If the human's eye color is found to be golden on arrival, M.F. would... (no plan in place yet)...

Interview flow-chart

M.F. arrives at the subject's location and requests that they take a ride with them
- If the person is uncooperative, M.F. will use Dominate or Majesty to coerce them
  - If this doesn't work, M.F. would have the N.O.P.D. officers physically restrain the person and bodily place them in the car
    - ‡ The officers will have been advised to not injure the person during this process
- The person is made to sit in the back seat of the vehicle- one officer sits up front, and one sits in the back with the person
Once in the car, M.F. sets their phone on a dash mounted holder, sets it to video, points it at the person, and presses record
M.F. says aloud the time, date, and gives a brief description of the person
M.F. turns on a light that is mounted to the dashboard and trained on the person
If at any point the person pleads the fifth, M.F. would respond by saying "Pleading the fifth to avoid self-incrimination only applies to criminal cases- you may invoke your fifth amendment rights, but please be advised that since this is not a xriminal proceeding, doing so will have consequences. Do you still wish to plead the fifth?"

At this point, M.F. would have timed it so that they would arrive back at the subject's original location. M.F. would ask the person to gather their things and exit the vehicle, and would advise that they would be in touch if the state needed further information.

People of Interest

Rebecca Vey - This was Thomas's plus one. He noted that this was the person he noticed the shadowy creature following- he took a picture of what he saw and sent it to the group. M.F. would note proceed with caution and would make a note to include Thomas (and possibly Dovey) when they interviewed Rebecca. Their inclusion is pending on if they fail and further tests.
